Walking...
Yesterday, I went walking with Dominique around the village. Actually no, just around San Juanico. We got to the end of the village! :O hahaha. Anyway the highlight of that walk was Jose Gabriel O. Yuzon ! Oh, he was so cute! It all started when Dom and I wanted to stay by the park first, and I decided to sit on the swings. Next thing I knew, we were talking to him. hahaha. He was like scooping sand and telling us that he wanted to cover all the holes in the playground. We talked about how the jungle gym is blue, grass is green and that we'll sink if we step on mud. nyahahaha. He was all alone. Can you believe that? His dad was playing tennis in the farthest court from him and I wondered Why the hell is this dad letting his kid play alone in the dark? I mean, I know the village is safe but you still gotta look out for the kid! So anyway, we just kept on talking to him while he was climbing the jungle gym. Then he saw us taking a picture. Then he said "Are you picture?" then I was like yeah, we're taking a picture. He's like "I want!" hahaha, so adorable. But then one of the ball scooper's for the court went over and told him that his dad was calling him. Uh-oh. I knew it, he thought bad about us. Well, I can't blame him. 2 strangers talk to your child and you're there watching tennis in the nipa hut and you ask the ball scooper person to pick up your son. Sheesh. Some great dad. I know, I shouldn't judge him. But the "situation" would have been avoided if he didn't let his son, play around in the park alone. Since he's such a big person to let the ball scooper person to fetch his son for him, why didn't he just let them watch him? So anyway, the ball scooper person wasn't able to convince Gabby to come with him so he left. We just kept talking to him. Then the ball scooper person comes again then his phone rings, it's Gabby's dad. I don't know what the dad said to Gabby. But the part of the conversation that I heard was "But they're my friends! Those 2 girls!". Well, I didn't feel bad that he thought we could do some harm to his kid cause I knew that he only wanted his kid to be safe. But I hope next time, the dad thinks better. At least, I didn't have any bad intention. We were just there to rest.
