doot doot akzeriuth timeline

Getting this up so I can keep everything straight because I kind of rearranged everything that happens in the game opening. The scenes are all plotted out but then I skeeved MYSELF working on the parts with Master Van in them so orz

- Ion sends an SOS (via Anise?) to Malkuth after being confined by Mohs, and Jade takes the Tartarus to retrieve him as in the events of the game.
- Luke boards the Tartarus with the intention of dropping off at Engeve to help out, since they're low on able-bodied men after Kimlasca's attack, which he still feels responsible for. He also sends a message to Asch asking about the Ion issue, probably something entirely unsubtle and which makes Asch facepalm when he sees it.
- Luke hangs out with Ion on the Tartarus, Engeve happens almost like the game except Luke convinces Ion to go ahead to Kimlasca and leave him to investigate the cheagle thing, because Luke sort of has a personal stake in a war not occurring :|
- SURPRISE, it's Master Van who rescues him from the Liger Queen (in Engeve one step too late from Anise's information). Luke freaks out between coming clean and trying to keep faking it, and he ends up introducing himself as Edel Gardios and hoping that Master Van thinks that he's come down with amnesia again.
- WHICH DOESN'T WORK for obvious reasons, but Master Van doesn't come right out and say it, or try to drag him back to Baticul. Also, Luke freaks out more when Master Van demonstrates that he knows Gailardia's name and says that he has business with him in Grand Chokmah, and offers to escort Luke back.
- Luke takes him up on it because he thinks he'd be less fucked in Grand Chokmah in any case, and he still believes that Master Van wouldn't really do anything bad to him. While travelling with Master Van, Asch's return message reaches him, and he uses the pigeon to tell Asch what happened and ask him to get word to Jade and Guy.
- Asch receives Luke's message right before he's due to attack the Tartarus, goes what the fuck a lot, tells Jade, and heads to Akzeriuth. He (and Ion?) get Arietta to quit since she doesn't have anything personal against the people on the ship this time. Jade and Anise manage to fend off the attack after only Largo and Legretta are left. I guess the fon slot seal never happens because I don't have to worry about breaking the gameplay <-
- SURPRISE, instead of Grand Chokmah, we're in Akzeriuth \o/
- Also, because Jade and Ion actually managed to reach Baticul on-schedule this time, they're halfway through presenting Malkuth's missive of peace when news of Luke's death in the fall of Akzeriuth reaches Kimlasca, which is awkward.
- By awkward I mean they get arrested. <-
