Thank god I am feeling more functional now. I would hazard a guess that it was...1:45 to 2:00 by the time I was actually asleep this morning, and I was up at 7:15--and not just up, but awake, and really which was pretty much stunning, but I wasn't complaining.
Until halfway through my first class, at which point I was about ready to put my head on my arms and sleep.
I napped in the gap after that class and before Japanese, and almost didn't wake up. But my attendance has been...not horrible this semester, but I've definitely missed quite a bit, in my opinion, considering how far it is/isn't into the semester.
When I am really tired, and am in a situation where I can't sleep, I become really really aware of my heartbeat. Does that happen to anyone else? It's like my body emphasizes it to be like, look. We're spending the energy to do this, are you seriously going to make us do other things, too?
Sorry, body. Wish I didn't have to.
Oh! And my Japanese class is starting daily in-class kanji practice, which is pretty much a godsend. Some things I'm okay with learning self-study style. Kanji this way so far, has jsut resulted in me not knowing all of the kanji I need to.
I feel very motivated. It's awesome. I'm going to get things done today.
