I don't like when people have strong opinions on Valentine's Day.
Maybe that's unfair of me. But I think its silly to be excessively, over-the-top into it or down on it.
I don't really groove on there being one allotted day to show people you love them. I hope the people I love don't ever doubt that I love them, based on my actions.
I don't hate Valentine's Day. It doesn't thrill me, either. But it's here, and I have something to share.
Kinda because it's Valentine's Day, kinda just because...I want to, and Valentine's Day seems like just as good an excuse as any.
I don't apply all these songs necessarily to romantic love, although that's generally the gist of the mix.
I just wanted songs about loving people--and ones that were about healthy, functional, good, sweet relationships.
Because those are the kinds I want to have with people and I want the people I care about to have.
