So you know how sometimes, you listen to a song, and it's not specified what gender the person who the singer's singing to is, but assuming it's a male singer, the assumption would be that he's singing to a female...and then you have the thought of, this seems really gay, just because I really cannot imagine what's being said, being said to a female?

Yeah? No? Yeah?

Jewel is weirdly the opposite. I don't feel like I usually have the thought "That's so straight," uh, non-sarcastically, anyway.. but I really can't imagine her music being sung to another female.
