Part of the deal is that they never mention it. It's too much to expect them to keep up the charade (this particular charade, as opposed to all the others) if they openly acknowledge it between them. Yuki firmly believes this anyway, and usually Haru just shrugs and goes along with it.
What matters is the feeling of hands on flesh, of eyes devouring everything and not turning away, of weaknesses acknowledged and understood. Something nearly but not love. To both of them, acceptance is enough. Is, in fact, more than they ever thought they'd ever find with another person.
