so i promised myself that i would become more faithful to this and i've failed..again. my life isn't that interesting/exciting/thought provoking/news worthy. but here's what's been happening lately:

beginning june 29th i took a week off of work. the summer grammar class finished june 27th so i figured that right after it's completion i'd take a vacation. it was a vacation..aside from the lack of packing, booking hotels and driving in a car for hours. i stayed home and got some much needed sleep and other things done. many of these things are extremely boring (cleaning out bank statements and check stubs, etc) but i have come to a conclusion about new paint colors for my room. they aren't specifically narrowed down yet, but i'm going in the general direction of light to medium shades of blues and whites and creams.

i also hung out with chelsee alot. we got manicures which was...interesting. the first thing the lady told me was not "hello, how are you?" nor did she ask me what color i was thinking about..no she focused right on my nails and exclaimed "your nails are really short..do you cut them??" deep down i think i did know this was coming, because my nails are hopelessly short. i sheepishly answered "no...i bite them." i think she was going to fall out of the chair...had i broken a sacred rule among ancient manicure worshippers? no. 1 always get manicure every two weeks no. 2 NEVER bite nails. not one little bit. i digress. after that moment, i haven't bitten a single nail. they are actually growing in their own slow pace. i don't know if my not biting them has been influenced by the money i paid or by the women who gave me the manicure. chelsee says that either way, i should get them done every two weeks. i guess she thinks my short nails are ridiculous as well.

i don't know if i mentioned this earlier..but chelsee has come up with a genious idea: move to either oregon or washington! i'm still mulling over this. alot can change in a year and a half..when i graduate (!!!) maybe by then she'll want to move somewhere else..like the east coast.
