i went to my first book signing last night. chelsee and i drove down to the hyde park vicinity where stephenie meyer was conducting a q&a and book signing at joseph-beth booksellers. that is the biggest, most splendid bookstore i've ever stepped in. they have your usual bookstore cafe dubbed bronte cafe AND a full sit down restaurant to boot. stephenie was on the second floor where the YA books were and the line to get books signed strung up a huge staircase. i'd judge that there were about 300 girls there and 5 guys (who wore an emo glare the majority of the time). next time she comes to town i'll make sure i'm there atleast an hour early instead of right on time.
