Well if you can't go back to the UK because you hate it there and that's why you are defaulting back here where you can't find a job you like...

Why not go to another english speaking country that's not the UK and where not knowing french won't be a hinderance?

or even some area of Canada where it won't be such an issue? Or take the french classes u know u are dying to take!

I've taken French classes...I have French friends...I get surrounded by French loads...it just doesn't seem to bloody well helep me!

other areas of canada still have the same immigration stipulations aswell. quebec is only slightly different.

It's very easy to say that. It's isn't in practise very simple though. How mayn countries are majority English speaking? The main ones are Canada, UK, USA and Austrailia.....I am partially in two of them and the other two are nearly impossible to get working visas for. It would also mean yet another upheaval to anothe rplace I don't know.

I have enough trouble with my two options!

don't worry darlin, i reckon the only negative about montreal was all the french bastards :P

its not that hard to get a working visa here. as long as you have your ticket to get home and the couple of grand in the bank. thats how we end up with so many Poms driving VW vans around the country. most ppl i know took out a lone til they got the visa then paid it all straight back. and you've always got a place to stay
