(no subject)
so i got hired at walmart last monday and they told me they'd call after they did a background check and got the results of the drug test. they decide to call me at like 3:45 Sunday afternoon when i'm not in houghton. i barely get reception in bootjack. so i have to call them later today that i can go to the orientation tomorrow from 4 to like 10:30 or 11 that night.... that's one long ass orientation... oh well. that just means that joe and i will go see shrek the third on wednesday as he's golfing today.
this weekend was great. we went out to bootjack saturday afternoon to lay on joe's dock. then his mom made dinner for lambie, joe and i. the three of us then proceeded to go out onto the boat so the boys could fish and i could read. well there was a mayfly hatch. thus we were surrounded by seagulls. we had been talking that is would be funny if someone caught a seagull since there were so many of them. lambie casts his line and splash, seagull hits the water with a hook in his wing. all the birds around us take off and start circling us. as the joes are taking the hook out of the gull, my joe's line gets a bite. so he reals it in and i hold it as he helps lambie before taking care of the bully.
when we get back to the camp, the adults had a fire going. so we chilled around it until like 1am. joe and i didn't feel like going to the auto cross the next day so we crashed at the camp to just relax. it was a good thing we did cause i was just really stuffed up. but sunday was full of chillin on the dock, wandering the pier, swimming, food, and then fishing again. i tried to stay in the sun as much as possible. it was just a relaxing weekend.
