Meant to ask you in my email but forgot. What is a GN? And I tried Revival - the fist 6 issues came into mu Oxfam shop - but I couldn't get into it. The first 6 or so issues of Mind the Gap came in too, and I liked that one much more. AND Y THE LAST MAN IS SO GOOD.

Sorry, GN = graphic novel. I've read the first issue of Revival but never got around to the rest, and I really like some of the cover art. 50p comics, may as well give it a go :) Ooo, I have a bunch of Mind The Gap! I'm behind though. LOOKING FORWARD TO Y THE LAST MAN :D

Yep. Graphic novels covers both the trades and the hardbacks which is why I often use that as a catch all. These ones are all trades though.

OH MY WORD ALPHA Y THE LAST MAN!! OK, it's written by the same guy who wirtes Saga (and if you're not reading Saga: READ SAGA) and it's about the aftermath of a plague type thing that whipes out every mammal with a Y chromosone on the planet apart from this one guy and his pet (male) monkey. So litterally all the other characters are female and it's SO FUCKING GOOD. Ohmygod.

Heehee, what franz said. I've read the first comic, so the first chapter, of Y: The Last Man and it looks amusing and interesting, so should be good!

Well, it's only franztastisch's remix that I've read as finished so far. Still writing mine :/ I have a first draft, but it doesn't work, so I'm doing two second drafts in different modes and seeing what works. Because I'm nutty.

And also happy to cheer you on for remix :) Although since I'm already bombarding you with marvel_bang you might want another voice ;)

I think it might be because GN is just shorter and I'm lazy ;)

I did look to see if they had any later issues at the fayre, because I remembered you were after them, but they actually had limited Image GNs/trades :/ Lots of comics though :D I think i'm reading more of the Image stuff than Marvel at this point, heh.

I think I'm more interested in Image stuff than Marvel at the moment too. Though I actually buy more Marvel issues. Image I tend to buy trades of, just cos I can manage my costs better that way. And thanks for looking! :)
