Yay! I always love to see someone watching Buffy for the first time!
Season two was great... and it's gonna get even better! So many terrific storylines coming up. Buffy (and Angel) are my very favorite shows of all time.

I can't think of specific fic for this ep... though there was so much overall, chances are good.

I've seen random episodes over the years and I think I'm aware of most of the big plot arcs, and I watched almost all of Angel. But seeing the overarching character development is fun, and there are loads of little things that I've missed out on. The devil is in the details :D And loads of Whedon dialogue <3

It was a specific sudden longing to be honest. Invisible high school of assassins! If there is not fic of this I may have to add this to my fic to do list lol. Thanks for the link though, I'll have a good rummage through those when I'm sure that I won't be spoiled!

Also I be needing a Buffy icon or a Joss is boss icon me thinks...

Out of Sight, Out of Mind was, perhaps, one of my all time favorite episodes! The mere fact that he turns something "bad" on it's head and it turns out being the thing that makes the girl special in the end. I love that!

If there is fanfic, it's most likely on those early Buffy fansites. I don't know of many from that early era that have moved their stuff over to AO3 or ff.net but I could be wrong.

It is a pretty cool concept that could be run with pretty far!

I'm finding with Buffy that there's no huge surprises so far - I'm familiar enough with the main arcs, I watched a few episodes in the past - but the dialogue and the humour and the antics are like coming home, just, the writing of it, and I'm loving linking lots of details together that I'd missed before. But then stuff like the ending of that episode - I did not see that coming and it's perfect and it screams a whole other offshoot world to the show and it's so damn Joss :D

I'm behind, meh. I don't think I'm gonna end up in it as a fandom, if only because the fandom has passed me by, but I really do fancy an FBI school for invisible teenagers training to be spies and assassins. Maybe because of Master Assassin love LOL. I'll have to have a rumage in the nets.

...I should not have thought that. I do NOT need another Clint/Natasha AU idea! But...invisable assassins...must resist...

It brings to mind a whole scenerio where someone says "we have to train up this next group of super heroes right" with a fist slamming on a table after Tony royally screws up. It seems like something Kate would be involved in.

I love Kate :D And that idea is fun! You should write that idea *evil enabling grin*

But my brain mashed it with the whole Clint High School foster genre and...what if being fostered didn't make Clint all scruffy clothed and bullied, but made him not stick out at all? And he enabled that, because he wants to fit in. And that makes him invisible. And things happen and he ends up at the school for invisible people, which is probably SHIELD run in my head, and there he meets Natasha.

(Although my first thought was straight-up, Macey's story. But I cross and fuse everything with Clint/Natasha in my head these days lol.)
