\o/ You finished it! This was a great read. Rhyme does not get enough attention, we know so little of her, her character is all but second-hand from Beat's perspective. It's nice to see her getting explored a bit more.

Rhyme can't help but have the feeling the Composer writes scripts that other people inevitably wind up following. - Somehow, I think you've stumbled across what it is the Composer actually does for the Game. (...Damnit, I just lost the game!)

Rhyme is a plucky little thing! I laughed when she briefly contemplated throwing Joshua's coffee in his face. She's also the sensible half of the family, though, which is I guess why she doesn't. XD

Joshua's rationale for picking Neku was an interesting angle I hadn't considered before. Food for thought.

A little bit chilling at the end there, and a little bit hopeful, too. We were given an inkling, with Hanekoma's comment about wanting to pass on his knowledge at the start, but still... I kind of want to tell Rhyme to go running and live life, but another part of me is thinking 'awesome!'

The nice big white gap of space surprisingly effective for the ending.

Arg! Now I lost the game too! 8( /punts

I can't take full credit for Joshua's rationale xD Poking around various places (wiki, the TWEWY wiki and the TVTropes page, I think) have often mentioned (paraphrased) that the reason Joshua spared Shibuya was because seeing the 'worst' (Neku) change for the better gave him hope. While it's not necessarily canon, it makes sense to me so I just ran with it xD

Man, someone should write Reaper!Rhyme or Composer!Rhyme. Like, right now. If Rhyme worked with Joshua, I imagine she'd drive him nuts. It's surprising what they actually have in common, but I think she's too disgustingly nice for Joshua to handle in large doses. I'm sure he'd soon come to regret his offer if she took it.

Even though my icon implies otherwise, I'm glad you enjoyed the story 8)
