Timesickness
I think I have this. It’s a feeling like vertigo, but it happens when I look back at the past. I was at a funfair in 2004(three years ago). That seems like long ago - like another life. I saw a film in December 2003(LotR 3). That seems like yesterday. It’s like, over the past three years, my memory has become non-linear, and vivid, in a way that makes life seem too short for comfort. It’s almost spooky how long a human being can just exist - a single machine scampering around the surface of the planet for millions of minutes, and even spookier how short it can all seem, in hindsight, thereby making the foresight seem shorter also.
