What a nice bridging chapter. The little kitsune is adorable as usual. And I smiled at Taki's sigh of exasperation at the boys. I totally understand that feeling.
There's one little mistake though? "He had gotten the impression that first time around that Tanuma hadn’t liked Natori."

It's so good to see you writing for this again. I've definitely missed this piece. Definitely going to have to go back and reread when I can!
You never fail to deliver when it comes to wonderful character interactions. Takashi and the fox child were just too darling, and your Takashi and Nyanko-sensei interactions are spot on as usual. And let's not forget about Taki! She was exceptionally darling here. I really liked her ribbing Takashi about 'playing favorites.' Blush-y Takashi is just too nice of a sight to pass up. <3
Good luck with NaNoWriMo! I'm actually going to use it as my springboard for writing a multi-chapter Kagami/Midorima fic I've been planning for the better half of last month, so hopefully I'll have something to show for my efforts too. Let's do our best together and keep up the wonderful work!
