Happy NaNoWriMo Eve!
National Novel Writing Month begins in just a few short hours for East Coasters. I'm hurriedly scribbling last minute plot and character notes in between slaving over some freelance writing assignments that are due this week.
It's VERY last minute, considering I just decided on a plot yesterday! My problem is never a lack of ideas, but a surplus of them. I finally decided what to work on by writing out a list of story ideas, then picking the one that excited me the most. (My final list had over 50 story ideas on it!) (Forgive my exclamation marks. My inner cheerleader is revealing herself.)
This NaNo, I decided to write something unlike anything else I've ever written. I'm very excited about it, and scared, and ready to stretch my writing muscles. I've been very slowly working them back into shape. Let's see how they respond to NaNoWriMo madness.
And I'm trying something different with my writing process, which I plan to write about in a future entry. Which, knowing me, will happen two or three months from now.
