I plan to work on this before going to bed, though. And yes, I'm going to bed at 5 AM. I work freelance! I can do these things. :)
And most importantly, the Make Me A Match rewrite:

Yay! I'm only a little behind. If I sneak an extra 100 words in here and there, I'll be on track in no time.
Daily total: 3310.
I think my natural daily output is right around 3500 words. I can quit around there without feeling burnt out or like I haven't gotten enough written.

Fun stuff from today's writing.
I'm having the most fun right now with The Many Lives of Lydia Klum. I was a little worried at first that the beginning wasn't as juicy as I wanted it to be. But! I've just managed to plunk Lydia down in her crush's kitchen. In her bikini. While pretending to be hung over because she hasn't learned how to flirt yet, and she needs some explanation for how inept she is at carrying on a conversation. And I have no idea if that last sentence made sense to anyone else but me. Considering that I'm cutting out caffeine (and I'm an addict, people) and it's 5 AM, I'm okay with being incomprehensible.
In any case, it's fun, and I love how much trouble Lydia manages to cause for herself.
