First post of the year..
Okay. So I've been meaning to post for ages but I just didnt get round to it. There's just too much happening - to happen - in my life, I cant not write about it. Let's start with a summary from March to today, nearly the end of May.
MARCH
So I come back from my vacation to find that my home phone and internet isn't working. No biggie. Just took 2 weeks to fix. By this time, uni's already started and I get into the routine of things and it's all dandy. Business and Commerce turns out to be not so bad.
APRIL
Merlin wise, I'm getting super crazy. I was given a wonder list of Merlin/Arthur fics, I hunted down some incredible icons and thought up some of my own-which is still in the process of being made. At a birthday party, which was most enjoyable,
yourmanuscript and I had our own act going on. She was Arthur and I was Merlin,
reality_check was the wife stealing whore, Lancelot.
BUT, the best thing that happened in April would be the announcement and intense promotion of Merlin on channel Ten. How sweet those words were. On top of that, ,
merlinaustralia was born for the sole purpose of fangirl squeeage! How rad is that?? Seriously, Australia + Merlin = epitome of greatness!~
OH! Ten and the Sun herald collaborated on a free premier of Merlin on the BIG screen at IMAX, to which yours truly attended. They even had Merlin promo on the popcorn box. That's epic.
MAY
I had a count down to the 3rd May 6.30pm. THE BEST SUNDAY EVER.
Merlin.on Australian television.MASSIVE brain meltdown.
So now, every Sunday the people of
merlinaustralia hunker down for a finger spasming comment flail post WHILE Merlin airs on t.v. Aren't we just the greatest? This is followed by a look at the ratings; we're currently at 1.5 million viewers ranked 4th, only second to the news. HELLZ YEAH!
I look forward to June, for many reasons. But its not June yet, so you just have to wait!
