Sports Fiend

Being in Las Vegas, it does afford the opportunity for some fun sporting events. Of course, providing you are into sports.

Going to see the Colorado Avalanche and LA Kings hockey game in September and the Pioneer Bowl for college football in December. Last year, the Oregon Ducks played. Tickets were definitely on the cheap for the bowl game. Kept myself to between $30-40 for each ticket so I wouldn't go bankrupt...lol. Just tired of not doing anything fun so I said fuck it! I'm going. I did buy 4 tix for each event so will find someone else to buy the other two.

Rescheduled my appts from yesterday since I had gotten such rotten sleep the night before. I was very cranky and really didn't want to be out in the heat and rushing all over town trying to make it to the appts as they were within an hour of each other.

Did some much-needed shopping but my back was not happy afterwards. New shoes did not help either and I came home limping. Once I took the shoes off tho, I was right as rain regarding the foot. New shoes are Earth shoes with a negative heal so I am thinking my one foot just wasn't thrilled to be in a much better position. Wearing sandals all of the time just is not a good idea.

Got our gigantic cat jungle gym yesterday but am waiting a couple of days to put it together. Niki would have a stroke if I try to do any manual labor since it would likely aggravate my shoulder. So, Michele is going to help me tomorrow after my rescheduled physical therapy appt. The Kidz will be beside themselves with kitty glee!!!

Bad back day so off to heat and medicate.
