I am back and ready to roll!
These past few days have been trying. I resigned from Bodies because my back has been giving me fits since our jaunt around the open-air swap meet Saturday. Didn't work Sunday, Monday or Tuesday because I couldn't walk more than a few feet and definitely could not stand straight up. So I talk with my boss and we decide resigning was the best option for all concerned. She will be labeling me 'rehireable' so that is cool.
Filed tax return and getting more back than I have ever gotten back.
Dead Guy's annuity paperwork is filled out and sent on its merry way.
Today, Zappos.com called. I START TUESDAY!!! And my back will not be an issue since I can sit forever...getting up might be another story but I can sit and play on the computer at will.
So...I leave one job only to be called the day after resigning to start another one.
Niki is looking hard for a job, as well. She hasn't worked in 10 years and is a disabled vet, not physically, so don't know which one may be playing into her lack of interviews. I do wish it wasn't so hard for her kuz she would be awesome doing anything.
So I am definitely going to have the money to pay off some bills, save for the move, eat whatever I want, have surgery, start T, go see some shows and movies, have fun, save for the sake of saving, get some much-needed things taken care of, and enjoy things just a bit more.
