SGA 507--*dies of epic fail*
I think SGA 507, Whispers broke my brain. And really? Not in the good way. I think I might even have to use the phrase "epic fail" for this one.

Heh, yeah, no kidding. I suppose yet another good thing about the show's cancellation is that they probably won't have time to kill off Radek. I have no doubt he'd be chopped by S6 if there were one. *shakes head at weird canon subtexty thingies they've been doing*
I guess I was out of the room by the time the gate team scenes came up in Whispers, figures I'd miss the one redeeming aspect of the episode.
If you blinked you could have missed it ... I mean, it was there in the 'I've got your back'-type moments that kept cropping up even with silent-snarky behind-the-back eyerolling through much of the episode, but basically when the team had that little gender-awareness standoff moment in the forest, I felt the four actors playing the female gate team came across as a team that really was together and really did believe in their abilities as the best and the brightest.
Then the people actually making the show didn't do anything great with them, but hey ... one thing this fandom has taught me is that the really great work comes from the fan writers, not canon. I'm looking forward to someone fleshing out this team! :-) (Yes, I'm attempting to stay positive. Plus, I think I might have developed eyestrain from watching that episode from all my own internal eye-rolling. Ouch!) ;-)
