Recapping my trip and the last few days...
Made it back from ND. Visited grandma for two and a half days. Saw the new UND hockey arena. It puts the Joe Louis to shame. It really does. I didn't know that Phil Jackson, Coached the Chicago Bulls and the LA Lakers to NBA championships was from North Dakota. He was an all-American basket ball player there. We went to the local mall and played with the kitties in the pet store. Lauren got a bad case of hives, and then we got lost on the way back to my grandma's.
Went to the Mall of America aka "The Mega Mall" in Minnesota. It's a fun place. I haven't been there in like 10 years. We went the underground aquarium. That was kick ass. I will post pics if they turned out. Lots of glare from the glass and water. Come to think of it, I don't think I actually bought anything from the mall. I mean, I paid for the wristbands in the aquarium, and I bought the food. Oh wait, I bought Larry and Markie's souvenirs.
Saw my cousin Lucy in Wissconsin. She lives just outside of MN off of I-94. About 20 minutes from the Mall of America.
All in all, my trip was good and fun. Lauren talked about Jeff more than I cared for. But whatever, she always finds one reason or another to bring him up. It took its toll on the way home, really made me feel like I could never be equal to him, let alone, greater in her eyes. Really sad moment. She even reminded me that her mom was cool with Jeff sitting in the bathroom, and even bullshitted with him. Oh well, I'll never be Jeff, I'll never be good enough.
On a positive note, in the mail on Saturday when we came back was my new drivers liscense and check card from the bank. And I got my new work id yesterday. I feel like I have an identity again. I just have to get a new gym card, and get a new pac sun card.
