As promised, it's pretty picture time. I finally got out the projects I'd completed and kept since the last photo update, and had a
Four well dressed bears
This sun hat took less than two hours to make.
So I made a reticule to match
This shell shawl was made with vintage worsted of eggshell and gold thread. Doesn't it look like something one would wear on an autumn evening in Paris?
This seed stitch triangle shawl of my own design was made of cuddlemuffin with a pom-pom trim. The long and lacy scarf was made with a bright, spring themed sock wool.
The lacy fan wap was made with another vintage wool, a true turquoise with silvery flecks. The spring petal scarf was another sock wool project.
The Guadelupe Wrap was so easy to make. I got the instructions from NaturallyCaron.com The scarf is two strands of space died chenille. It took about three hours to make during a trip to Disneyland.
I wish I had a better pic of this cape, but it's such a dark piece. The chunky, slubby wool is a mix of navy, black and light blue. It doesn't have its buttons yet, that's that pile of black shiny squares in the middle.
My pride and joy, the Regency Rose wRap, eighteen months in design and execution. It's huge, and warm, meant to look like the day wraps women wore in Regency times (think Jane Austen books).
With matching mitts.
And finally...
The bean flower scarf, made in a chunky bamboo. This is soo soft, and about ten feet long. I thought it was going to take days to make, but it was done in well under two hours. Kae, do you recognize this one?

I think I've been working at my keyboard too long.
Yesterday, the Boss brought in these really scrummy salads (think Cobb salad with an Asian gingery soyish sauce) and as I sat at my desk, eating away, I was catching up on newspaper stories I'd put aside to read in my (ha ha ha ha) free time. Each story was propped up, in its turn, on the document stand in front of me, and as I reached the fold in one story, I...yes, I really did this...idly reached for the mouse to scroll down.
I think I need a holiday.
Have a lovely Friday, folks.
