Most of you amazingly crafty friends are probably already members of crochetme or knitting daily, but just in case you are not, I just got several really nice free ebooks that I am happy to share: 5 knitted vest patterns (and this means waistcoats not undergarments); 5 crochet lace patterns; 6 knitted bag patterns or 7 crochet amigurumi patterns.
Just leave a comment with your edress (or PM me if you don't want that published) and I'll send them off to you. Or sign up at crochetme.com or knittingdaily.com for your own newsletters and free e book offers.
I am currently finishing up my MS Nana Squares (working with Nana Squares means tying up lots of knots), and starting my second Big Bow cardigan, as well as a seed stitch scarf in shades of green and gold. I'm also working on my ninth book but it's soooo slow going right now. I'm also reading Jeannine Garsee's Say The Word. (I'm mailing your thank you gift, Jeannine, I promise!)
The rain was lovely to our garden. We've got daffodils and day lilies sprouting, cala lilies and pansies blooming and a solitary sunflower blooming defiantly over the flower beds.
Seekrit message to You Know Who: Say it with me. I am a writer. I must write.
And now a word from our sponsors:
Jim Burkett's first book, Declaration of Surrender, is lagging behind in our race for sales this month. As a fellow Bean, I feel duty bound to urge anyone who likes thrillers, intrigue and car chases, or anyone who wants to help kids with cancer to buy this book. It's $2.99 anyplace you feed your Kindle, Nook or iPad, and his profits are going to the Pediatric Cancer Foundation of Tampa. Go read it. Go now.
And now back to our blog. Thank you for joining me today. Do your part for global warming and smile.
