Win-(I+N)+(O+W)+!=Wow!
Got a pressie in the post yesterday. I should have taken a picture, but I was so excited to receive it, and send it on, that I unpacked it, admired it and repacked it to send on my to my niece. But you can see it here.
The picture doesn't do the necklace and charms justice. They're lovely. My niece is going to be thrilled.
Of course, the choccy and ginger are staying here...we'll call them processing fees. But the book, which is beautiful, by the way and autographed for my girl, and the necklace are out in this morning's post to my dearest niece, who is rushing up on sixteen...or, as juliakarr calls it XVI.
If you've got a girl in your life at that vulnerable age, teetering on the edge of her own sexuality, wrestling with media which dictates she must be ready for sex, get this book. Read it, let her read it, discuss it. It will be good for both of you.
