Why am I still awake?

So I haven't touched this website for a while. I think it said my last entry was 105 weeks ago, lol. I rarely even ever blog anymore, so I don't really know what to write about. It doesn't help that I'm a little sleepy (yet not into the idea of heading to bed). Everything is going well in the married world. It's seeming the more time goes on the more and more in-sync we get, and it's been a pleasant surprise. I have a good feeling about our future together and I'm pretty pumped. Speaking of future, it'd be pretty sweet if I had a job. I used to work at a very incredibly adorable bistro in Bay View, but it cashed in it's chips and have been jobless (but on unemployment along with several others) since pretty much the day we bought the house...lol. Matt got laid off a couple of weeks ago but since he's such a great talker he got an even better job within a week. I used to think that I was good at interviewing. I don't think Matt's every walked out of an interview empty handed. Well since I still haven't found a job yet I'm a little bummed, for more reasons than just money. Not only would it be great to have something to do with myself and get to work hard again, but my mom told me today that my dad's boss is moving to Atlanta...and his wife has a horse that they are not taking with them...Finally an amazing opportunity to own a horse to start my business falls into my lap and I can't take her up on it because i don't have a job! AH! Even if I was still only working at Annona 4-5 days a week I could have made that work, especially with Matt's new, better paying job. So unless I make some magic happen and I get a great job within the next couple of weeks, this chance is going bye-bye. Well, at least it's a little more of an insperation to try harder for a decent job asap. Dang.

Our house is definitely coming along and I'm pretty excited about it. Only two and a half big projects to do and the rest can be done here and there. We need to re-do the kitchen, turn the upstairs into a master suite and the half is fixing up our curb appeal. I only count it as half because it's going to be fun to play gardener this spring. Alright well this is a good enough start for now. I'm heading to bed. Tomorrow there are two awesome birthday parties to get to, and I should have as much energy as possible.
