#ITPE Dear Podficcer Letter
Dear Podficcer,
Hello! And yay! I'm so excited for ITPE. As I've said in my ITPE letters in past years, one of the things I love about ITPE is how open-ended it is, that you get a chance to really play and have fun. So please play and have fun! I totally love chat fic, notfic, ficlets, meta, playing with anything that could be in some way podficcy, and I love sound effects, music, messing around with stuff, filk, etc. BUT! If any or all of that does not appeal to you, no worries at all. I love all things podfic, so do something you're excited about and I can pretty much guarantee I'll enjoy it.
You can find my bookmarks (and favorite pairings and fandoms) at my Pinboard. My absolute favorite things are tagged with "rocksmysocks" and "omgheart", but most stuff that is bookmarked on my Pinboard are things that I'm pretty psyched about. I also LOVE being introduced to new stories through podfic, so definitely don't feel like you should podfic something that I've already read. I'm happy with anything from gen to romance to explicit. I also love crossovers and crack and shmoop and silliness and cuteness and found families and ... a lot of tropes. Avengers (movie 'verse, especially Sam/Steve, my OTPPPPPPPPP)
Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries (especially Jack/Phryne but I <3 everyone on this show. Dot! Mac!)
The 100 (I'm game for soooo many pairings in this show: Clarke/Raven, Bellamy/Clarke, Clexa, Lincoln/Octavia, Indra/Octavia, Raven/anyone, Monty/anyone, etc...)
Teen Wolf (especially Derek/Stiles)
Kingsman (especially Eggsy/Harry or Eggsy/Harry/Merlin)
Vorkosigan Saga
The Raven Cycle
Jupiter Ascending (not really interested in anything with the Abrasax siblings because of dislikes below, but I am super here for #i'vealwaysloveddogs and also Sean BEE! Would love also gen, crossovers, fusions, etc.)
Due South (especially Fraser/Ray K or any Diefenbaker adventures)

SGA & SG1 (I <3 everyone)

(Fandoms that I've listed above but haven't given any details for means basically that I just love it and words are failing me and all I can say is <3____<3. You can find the full list of fandoms that I've bookmarked in my Fandom tag bundle at Pinboard, so feel free to pull from a fandom there instead if there's something there that appeals to you -- I love them all.)
Things that I generally don't like:
- torture
- betrayal of a friend / cheating on a partner
- humiliation
- gore / violence / horror that goes beyond the source material
- dub-con and noncon
- using gendered language as an insult (like when a man finds something emasculating, Stiles is the pack "mom" rather than dad or parent, a man "cries like a girl," etc., even when it's being said by a character for whom that would be in character. I just... dnw.)
