The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins
Last night I dreamed that I was at some kind of sci-fi con with 
fuschia and
greendreaming, who were running a booth in the dealer's room. I was babysitting someone else's booth, and this debacle ensued with a dissatisfied customer who wanted to exchange the sparkly dragon necklace that she'd bought at another booth and had engraved, for a necklace at my booth. I wouldn't do it, the person running the other booth was all, "just give her the thing!" etc. -- long story short, I ended up giving her the necklace from my booth to prevent a fistfight, but I was so mad.
As I turned to gripe to Fuscia and Greenie, Leonard Nimoy walked by with a huge amount of stuff. We made eye contact and I just grinned like a huge dork at him, because omg Leonard Nimoy! And he gave me this big goofy grin back and started setting up the booth right across from ours because apparently he was selling Star Trek paraphernalia and singing telegrams. I then started griping to F & G about the necklace thing, asking if I had misunderstood some fannish merchandise code of honor, and the two of them gravely shook their heads along with Leonard, who started telling tales of scams people had tried to run at cons past.
At some point in there Mr. Junket arrived, saw Leonard's huge array of stuff (srsly, he had like 5 people helping him schlep stuff), and shrieked, "I'm going to check out R2 and C3PO!" because Leonard had brought them with him because apparently my subconscious is way less of a real geek than I am and was having trek/war technical difficulties. How embarrassing. Anyway, Leonard was lovely. Then I had a conversation with Peter Sarsgaard and his father in Swedish (which I don't speak), because apparently my subconscious was confusing Peter Sarsgaard with Alexander Skarsgard -- my dreams are a very confusing place. In short, dreams ftw!
PS. Recs request! I really want some Jane/Cho Mentalist fic badly right now. So far I've only found a couple, but it's only made me want more desperately.
PPS: Also, in preparation for Destination Denver: Roadtrip 2011 I've been downloading podfic like it's going out of style. Anyone have a favorite fic or reader to recommend?
