Title: Tailor Made
Fandom: Running Man
Pairing: Gwangsu/Joongki
Word count: 776
Rating: PG-13
Summary: He should have asked Gwangsu for his measurements, except that was creepy and intrusive and definitely not information you usually needed to know about a person who was just supposed to be a friend.
A/N: I started this in class today because I was being bored to tears about Victorian literature, and I didn't have a clue where I was taking it but it ended up here after talking to civilized_era about it. I am liking this Running Man fic revolution, let's keep this going.

Tailor Made
The jeans are too small. Of course they are, because it's impossible to buy clothes for Gwangsu in a normal store. You have to get special clothes for Gwangsu, have to let the hems down a couple of inches before you get to the ankle, because Gwangsu makes the average Korean (like, say, Joongki) seem short as a hobbit.

Sometimes Joongki thinks that Gwangsu has never stopped growing, but that might just be because he finds himself looking up to him more and more each day.

So, the jeans are too small, and Joongki should have known. He should have asked Gwangsu for his measurements, except that was creepy and intrusive and definitely not information you usually needed to know about a person who was just supposed to be a friend, and he couldn't ask Gwangsu's stylist because that just brought more people in to the awkward equation.

And he can't brush it off as having seen them and thought of Gwangsu because he can't have thought of Gwangsu because they're too small.

He's sitting staring at them, as if by doing so he can encourage a little bit more material to magically attach themselves to the legs. He could always, of course, just give them to someone else. That's not as strange as giving them to Gwangsu, he's a good dongsaeng who is always treating his hyungs; besides, no one just randomly buys presents for Gwangsu, especially not Joongki. The only gift that Joongki has ever bestowed upon Gwangsu is the gift of being called an idiot on national television.

-- Which brings up the whole thing about the jeans, being that every time Joongki does something like that, Gwangsu will get him back in some secret, sneaky way, sometimes so secret that you're not even really aware of it, and yet Gwangsu seems honestly overjoyed with these small victories. And then Joongki gets worried about the one hundred notes thing, because he doesn't want Gwangsu to (stop talking to him) be misunderstood because if nothing else, Joongki gets a little turned on whenever Gwangsu pulls his not-so-secretly mean act, and so the jeans were bought to pre-emptively stave off any such act and --

The jeans are for Gwangsu, is the point, and so he can't just pawn them off onto the next person to walk along, because they're too long for Haha and Gary, and they won't get over Sparta Kook's thighs, and he'll just feel slightly wrong about giving them to Sukjin or Jaesuk who should probably stop trying to de-age themselves through clever clothing methods, and he certainly can't give them to Jihyo because they're definitely man jeans and she's strangely sensitive about that kind of stuff.

So he snatches them up and walks over to Gwangsu who is chilling before filming listening to music and he throws the jeans at Gwangsu's head and then starts trying to pull the pants Gwangsu is wearing off because he's the enthusiastic youth Song Joongki and fuck it, he's embarrassed.

So is Gwangsu, when he emerges from under the jeans, to find that Joongki has his fly undone. "What are you doing?" he squeaks, dropping the jeans in his lap and pushing Joongki away.

Joongki puts his hands on his hips. "Take off your pants."

Gwangsu unravels the bundle of jeans, looks at them, looks at Joongki, looks at the jeans in his lap again, and then says, "Are these for me?"

"Yeah," says Joongki. "So just put them on, okay?"

"They're going to be too small."

"You should be used to cold ankles." And Gwangsu concedes that this is true and because he's a good sport and unfailingly nice he puts them on, and then Joongki spends all of filming (and filming is a long fucking time) just thinking, "Take off your pants, take off your pants". Partly because they look ridiculous and partly because when was he not thinking about taking off Gwangsu’s pants?

And it's not until he's home, thinking about how he'd totally screwed the ball on this one, thinking about how he'd tried to pull Gwangsu's pants off that he remembers the uncomfortable way Gwangsu had held the jeans in his lap afterwards.

He doesn't know if that mental image is just something his brain came up with or whether it was planted there by secretly mean Gwangsu. He's turned on enough by it to believe in fucking inception, in any case.
