Heechul's fingertips are soft against the skin of his cheeks, and then he's slipping the mask over Hankyung's nose and over his mouth, and he's laughing, so Hankyung laughs back. He loves this thing that they have, the easy way in which they get away with touching each other, the way that it seems innocent; two best friends who are just enjoying themselves, enjoying being back together. For a short while, he believes that that's all it is, at this point. He laughs and takes the mask off and misses the annoyed look Heechul gives him.
The concert is loud and busy but somehow they always find each other and somehow Hankyung always manages to get over the jump in his heart when he realises that that's Heechul in the corner of his vision; manages to ignore the tingle that shoots through him every time Heechul touches his arm or shoulder or neck; manages to bite his tongue against any touching that Heechul might do with anyone else. Manages to breathe whenever Heechul chooses him (manages to breathe whenever he remembers that Heechul chose him).
He stands patiently as Heechul fastens the giant sunflower around his neck, and his fingers tighten momentarily around it and his nails dig warningly into the skin of Hankyung's neck. Hankyung grins at him and wears the thing for a short while longer than the mask. It scratches against his neck and makes him itch but he wears it just long enough for Heechul to smile at him - sometimes he thinks that he would die for that smile - and then he takes it off and presses it back into Heechul's hands, because he recognises what the sunflower stands for. Given by the fans, Heechul's possession, a collar around his neck.
(When Heechul puts the fan in front of their faces and laughs against his neck, Hankyung mutters, "God, why don't you just pee on me and have done with it?"
"We can totally try that later," says Heechul, and presses his lips to his cheek, all at once a show for attention that they don't need because the fan makes them obvious, and a intimate promise, and when he pulls away, Hankyung makes a show of rubbing the kiss from his cheek, because it's the only thing that he can do against someone like Heechul. The only thing that he wants to do.)
