Went to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory with pumpkinpatch and exanimous this afternoon. akrabu was nice enough to watch our kids as well as my neice while I went out with just us three girl monkeys. The only thing that would have made it better would be that other girl monkey, the one with the jingles. I think we may have convinced exanimous to stay *one* more day in Nanaimo. This rocks, as we don't barely ever see her.
My neice is spending the night tonight. She drew me a big pile of pictures of sharks and mermaids, fortunately in Hailey's world these are not natural enemies. She also drew a great picture of her dad playing golf and a nice laid out picnic. You can tell that this kid has a chef for a dad, the picnic has a big fancy cake and wine glasses. You can also tell that she's been enjoying shark week on tv this week. I'll have to scan some of her pictures, they're awesome.
