Excuse me while I go cry, because this was everything the other was not, and while they were both amazing, this was beautiful and heartrending. ;_; I love your descriptions of Adam's memories, little brickworks to to character, and how Michael delved into them, even fell in love because of them, but he was so caught up in his goal that he didn't even notice when Adam faded. This is tragic, heartbreakingly tragic, but perfect. I'm in adoration with every last word of it. <3

I love how it insinuates that even though Michael started to fall in love with Adam while he visited him in his mind, Adam died the second he was possessed.

You completely broke my heart. ;_; Why did I read this at lunchtime?? I got to the very last line, shattered, and then my desk phone rang! It was a bit like, "*sob* I swear I'm a professional and -ahem- yes, stranger, how can I help you?"

I adored the spots of Adam memories, how you ranged them from the mundane to the milestones with Kristen, Kate, complete strangers, and finally Michael himself. Watching this version of Adam's character take form through his memories, while watching Michael slowly fall in love with him, was as fulfilling as it was heart-breaking.

I LOVE THIS STORY SO MUCH. THIS IS WONDERFUL, YOU ARE WONDERFUL AND THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING IT. ♥

Adam's memories are always fun to write. So much of blank space waiitng to be filled. And I am hundred percent certain the kid was a Grade-A neat-freak housework loving dork.

I've read this, probably upwards if 20 times, but this is the first time I've thought to comment.
It's probably because this fic always leaves me incoherent and sad and broken and ugh.
I want to rip out my own heart and tear it to pieces while it still beats because it wouldn't hurt as bad as reading this. I don't read angst, unless there's a happy ending, so you are one of a kind with this story. This is the only sad and angsty thing I can re-read and still enjoy. (Though it hurts like a bitch)

All of that basically just means this is perfect and heartbreaking and you did such a good job you broke me. :) I seriously have a lot of love for this fic. And a lot of other feels too.
