(no subject)
Asthma sucks. I'm down to the disgusting dregs of my inhaler again, and so I've needed it three times today, and rather than swift, calming relief, I'm gagging on the taste and wheezing again in a few hours. YAY LUNGS.
I actually sat down to do my Writing Competition entry today, but odd things were happening in my brain. I had this really cool idea yesterday (brought about by sitting in a car on the front for two and half hours waiting to see a ferry go by in the mist and rain and cold) but when I came to write it down... bleh. I couldn't think of the words. I know what I want to say, but it's not being translated from the images/fragment words in my brain to the ACTUAL words on the computer.
The other one (normal, not as weird or Ray Bradbury-esque) on the other hand is progressing well. The theme is "Waiting", and I do feel like a lot of the time I'm waiting for inspiration to get its big club out and knock me senseless. I think this would be too pretentious to actually write about seriously, however, so I'm needing other ideas.
