Well, I can't say I'm surprised this week. My mum and my cousin Philip acted Suspicious Minds better than Craig, and they were just on a dance floor at a wedding. I'm glad he went, I think AWL made the right choice this week.
The panel were on fine form, and yay for Lee having his own rhyme, courtesy of JB :P
Speaking of Lee... OMG how brilliant was he this week? I loved his solo song, his vocal stood out in the groups, and his duet with Josh Groban? Guh. So many levels of guh.
I'm glad Lewis has stayed this week, and didn't succumb to the Curse of the Coat, and I seriously hope he can keep a stiff upper lip for the semi. Personally, I thought his performance was much, much better than Craig's, whose smile was in danger of provoking a violent outburst in the near future. Keep those eyes dry, Lewis!
I liked the little film of life in the Joseph House, though Keith came off quite badly all things considered. He annoys me.
Lee should also leap off things/wear shorts/not wear a shirt on a more regular basis. That's all I have to say :D
In the real world, my high school education is all over bar the shouting. Now I just need to get into vocal training for the exams. Anyone think John Barrowman might help me out?
Leavers' was nice. I didn't cry, but I came close when one of our teachers (a Spanish teacher I used to have, who welcomed us in Year 7 and is retiring this year) nearly started crying during her speech. So, so sad. There were some nice photos, too, and funny memories of 7 (omg) years of High School.
Then we went and spent the afternoon in the pub (and attacking our nice English teacher who was there with his wife and assorted friends. I think we might have really scared them, but he looks really cheerful on the photo, so that's sweet) and then had a meal and went and fangirled Phil Jones (weird pub singer) before crawling into a taxi and slouching home.
I can't really get that exciting about leaving just yet. Right now it just feels like a relief to not have to deal with the homework and little kids and to just get on with the final hurdle. Roll on 21st June.
school,
leaving,
