It seems Livejournal hates me for not posting in so long. I'm sorry if you saw the coding mess that was my first attempt at this...
It seems I haven't posted in aaaaaages. Time to rectify!
What I've been up to:
+ had an awesome weekend with
kat_lair and ginnystar, complete with flailing and fic plotting. (Ginny, tell me you've started on some of the AWESOME! :D)
+ I am totally stalled on my Big Bang, but with a slightly valid excuse - I got another TV idea that I suddenly *HAD* to develop a little before I forgot it all. It now has characters, four super-basic episode outlines and a final sequence that I'm a little in love with. This feels like a good one to properly work on submitting, so I got a little absorbed by it. But I'm back to the Bang now. Honest.
+ I've been listening to a lot of Florence and the Machine, and I'm in love. Now the Decemberists have some competition for my personal Album of the Year Award...
+ I spent some time staring slightly vacantly at Ricky Wilson in his Reading performance. When exactly did he get so manic-eyed and hawt?
+ I got my course books, and I am currently quite intimidated. I'm halfway through Mary Barton and it's pretty awesome so far, and I'm putting off starting my Holocaust reading because even the blurbs are pretty traumatic.
+ I am getting EXCITED for season two of Dollhouse. It's a sneaky show. I've not thought about it in forever, and then suddenly I'm stalking the spoiler pages and squeeing a lot. :D
+ Did anyone else watch Framed on the Beeb last week? Despite my various personal grievances with Frank Cottrell- "Queuing is for lesser beings"- Boyce, I sort of loved it. Trevor Eve & Eve Myles FTW!
Aaaaand I think that brings us up to date. Totally worth waiting for, right?
