Today's achievements:
* I chose the three poems I'll be talking about in my Tudor lyric essay, plus the question I will (at some point) be answering. It is very difficult to be motivated this far away from Professor Zelenka's awesome influence...
* Did my brother's chores. At least I don't feel like a total laze anymore!
In other, random, news, I'm going to see a concert tonight. With my dad. It's some 60s/70s folk-rock-whatever thing that's magically appearing in Southport, and since my mum's out with school tonight, I'm going! I'm sort of looking forward to it. It'll be interesting, if nothing else.
Tomorrow brother comes home, we search his bag for smuggled goods, place bets on horses (Grand National, w00!) and I go out for birthday celebrations.
(I have to make a confession right now. I am totally addicted to Young Mums' Mansion on BBC3. It's on the iPlay during the day, when there's nothing good on TV. And it's daft and aggravating but... yeah. Addicted.)
