Prodigy kids

You know, I'm watching Oprah talk to child prodigies. She's talking to a fifth grade kid who knows almost EVERYTHING about all of the presidents. He says he's going to run for President in 2032. I think he could do it, too... but I find myself wondering if, once he gets to high school, he'll lose his drive in favor of fitting in. Or, even worse, if he'll realize what life is really like and see that that sort of child idealism can't cut it in the real world.

Sad, but sometimes all too true.
