In Closing...Incoherency
Exhausted, but it's a good exhausted.
Seems to be this year's theme...well...just the exhausted part, not necessarily the positive part.
I will not be sorry to see this year go. I am excited for the year to come.
Goals include creativity, health, and taking risks. A more coherent list to come, probably on the First. New beginnings and all that.
Was up at 8:30 today, and am just now getting ready to call it a day. Not the longest I've ever gone, but it was one of the fullest days ever. Work, followed by two hours of running around like crazy to pick up Wii accessories, mice, and depositing rent money so we actually have a place to continue living...then a quick Hot Pocket for the road before I was off again with friends to a Mary Kay party.
It was a lot of fun. I'm glad I didn't poop out.
Back home after 10:30 to listen to my best friend lament (two years running now) over this guy who hopefully she's finally, finally getting OUT of her life. She's coming up for my party tomorrow so that should be fun :)
Then cleaning cleaning cleaning until now. I literally just sat down for the first time today. And now I'm ready to pass out. The bathroom and kitchen are clean, finally. The living room and our bedroom need tidying, but at least they aren't dirty. Ok, like, A LOT of tidying, but. It's doable. A friend is getting the groceries we need for tomorrow, so that will be taken care of, then C and I need only to finish up a couple of errands and...that's it.
Back to work Saturday, then off Sunday for my birthday :)
Got one of the books I had ordered today. So that's exciting and I can't wait until I actually have time to start looking through it.
