Today marks the 82nd year since the debut of Steamboat Willie and the official birthday of Mickey and Minnie Mouse. Of course, the mice are actually a bit older, since the silent version of Plane Crazy came out six months before Steamboat Willie. That’s Hollywood stars for you, always bending the truth about their ages.
