It was getting cold in the house, and the pellet stove has been running all day. I'm already wearing a turtleneck, and warm flannel pants, and wool socks, so I turned on the electric heater in my study. Didn't think more of it.
I was mucking about online and opened the iGoogle homepage. I typed in my zip code to their weather widget. Current temperature: 7. No no, I said to the computer, I want the temps in Fahrenheit. Ok, it said. Current temperature: 7.
