IF YOU'RE ON MY FRIENDS LIST, I want to know 28 things about you. I don't care if we've never talked, never liked each other, or if we already know everything about each other. I really don't. You are obviously on my flist, so let me know with whom I'm friends ( Read more... )

Well, I'm not on your flist, but you're on mine as of... five seconds ago, because I decided you're groovy like that.

1. Your Middle Name: Marina.
2. Age: 14.
3. Single or Taken: Single... but emotionally taken. Heavy-duty crush. :]
4. Favourite Movie: Arsenic and Old Lace
5. Favourite Song or Album: Can I skip this one?
6. Favourite Band/Artist: This is tough too... probably Blondie.
7. Dirty or Clean: Both. I'm really lazy, but I adore being well-groomed.
8. Tattoos and/or Piercings: The standard ear-piercings.
9. Do we know each other outside of LJ? No. We barely even know each other on LJ.
10. What's your philosophy on life? You always hear people say, "How come in real life the bad guys always win?" Well, even in movies and books, they win until they don't. If the bad guys are winning in real life, that's just because the hero hasn't come yet.
11. Is the bottle half-full or half-empty? Half-full [usually], baby!
12. Would you keep a secret from me if you thought it was in my best interest? Given I barely know you, sure. If we were closer, that would depend on the secret.
13. What is your favourite memory of us? Well, there is none.
14. What is your favourite guilty pleasure? Disney princess movies!
15. Tell me one odd/interesting fact about you: I've started wearing men's clothes a lot. In a feminine-sexy way, of course.
16. You can have three wishes (for yourself, so forget all the 'world peace etc' malarky) - what are they? Spectacular planning/time-management skills and efficiency; top-notch writing skills [fiction, persuasive writing, everything]; through-the-roof charisma [with built-in flawless flirting skills... this would be helpful to my acting and my politicking]. Yes, I have had practice answering this question.
17. Can we get together and make a cake? Sure; why not?
18. Which country is your spiritual home? Britain, perhaps... although I am also partial to Spain and France and despite its many, many shortcomings I do love my home, the U.S.A.
19. What is your big weakness? I'm a chatterbox, and very loud, both beyond my control. I'm working on becoming a better person, but those two traits are just so stubborn!
20. Do you think I'm a good person? I don't know, as I friended you about five seconds ago, but I'm sure you are!
21. What is your best/favourite subject at school? English [or, if I can put it, Theatre]--although next year, when I start French I-II, that will doubtless change. :]
22. Describe your accent. I don't know how! I don't know what mine even is, if I have a more specific accent than "American".
23. If you could change anything about me, would you? Why would I? I don't know anything about you to change, and if I did, I'd like you too much to want to change anything anyway.
24. What do you wear to sleep? A very light nightgown. It's hot out!
25. Trousers or skirts? Trousahs. I love skirts but I far prefer wearing trousers.
26. Cigarettes or alcohol? Neither, thanks; I'm dead straight-edge. Besides, pot is really pretty much the least dangerous drug in existence, so if I ever wanted to indulge in sin [tempting as it is, though, it won't happen!], I'd go for the ganja.
27. If I only had one day to live, what would we do together? (If you have no idea, just say something crazy, it'll entertain me!) Okay, then. We'd go to the circus, free the elephant, and ride it through the ocean straight to Paris. Then we'd go bungee-jumping off the Eiffel Tower.
28. Will you repost this so i can fill it out for you? (it's okay if you don't). Sure; why not?

Welcome on board! may i ask how did you find me? I'm always curious when a new friend pops up :)

1- Beautiful name.
4- Omg, I love that movie! It's one of my mom's favourite too :D
10- Interesing philosophy, I must admit that I envy your optimism a bit.
15- Men's clothes are so comfy...and sexy ;)
16- I love your third wish, I may have to steal it (since I'm pants at flirting. Sometimes I wish one could just ask:"What do I have to do to get in your pants?" and be done.)
21- French is a lovely language. I studied it in school and lived in France for a while, coming back to live with my parents was a nightmare.
27- Lol. I think we'll get along pretty well ^_^

Through your all-that-jazz mix! By the way, it's lovely. :D
1. I prefer my first name. Keely!
4. It's brilliant. Definitely my favorite old movie, and modern movies aren't as good anyway.
10. I'm not always optimistic. And it doesn't mean everybody gets to sit back and wait for the bad guys to lose; we have to make them lose. But just because they're winning now doesn't mean they always will.
15. Absolutely! Especially men's button-downs... ;D
16. If it were that simple, I'd be made.
21. I already know a fair bit of French, and I've been to Paris (it's lovely!). I can't wait to start French class.
27. Indeed! ^_^

4- SO, so true. Sadly.
10- Of course. But there's a proverb -I have no idea if it's just an Italian thing or not- that rougly sounds like this: "If you can't fight them join them." Unfortunately it seems the most common philosophy aroud here ,and I'm not an exception -that's why I envy your optimism, the strenght it gives you.
16- *nods* That must be why we're both single (btw, good luck with your crush!)
21- Ah, Paris! One of my fav cities in the world (with Prague). And N.Y., lucky you!

16: Aheh, good luck? Considering I have the hots for a graduating senior friend, the whole attraction was kind of doomed from the start anyway. Nothing will probably ever happen unless I'm going to Yale [my dream school, and also his future college: coincidence, I swear!] 3 1/4 years from now... :P
Psh. Whatevs.
