Life is too suspiciously good right now.
I keep expecting something absolutely HORRIBLE to happen and strike me down where I stand -- be it a bolt of lightning from the sky, or a speeding Range Rover sideswiping me on my bike.
I'm dating someone ridiculously fucking great, and I just ended my retail job months ahead of when I thought I'd be able to in order to try and make a living with my art. And it's summer, and it's comfortably warm out, and my comic's nearly in the bag. I am constantly accosted by snuggly kitties, my health is good, my computer speakers keep playing some damn fine music, and uh, wow. What is wrong? Almost exactly nothing.
But it keeps storming this week, and I keep looking up at the clouds and listening to the thunder, thinking, shit, that next one could be for me.
