About me:
I was born and raised in Ukraine, where I lived till the age of 15. In 1999 me and my elder sister moved to Israel and ever since have been living here.
Although I consider myself an Israeli I'm still influenced by former Soviet Union and Ukrainian culture that are full of inspiration and creativity in any kind of art.
Fusion of my native and Middle East cultures extends sources of my inspiration and gives me a capability to mix things which naturally don't come together in order to create something new. Moving to another country has made me stronger as a personality and has opened my mind, overcoming the fear of a new.
My passion was drawing ever since I could hold a pencil in my hand and career of an artist and fashion designer has always been in my fantasies. Since the age of 16 I have started to study art and fashion illustration with private teachers. Rapid progress in my studying helped me realise that I was interested in everything related to creation of a new image of a woman or a man, that's why I also started studying professional make up and developed photographing skills. High education in Shenkar College of Engineering and Design have broadened my knowledge, skills and exposed me to all kinds of styles and designs. In my projects I draw inspiration from music I hear, books I read and everything I can see around me, but the most inspiring for me is the image of a person, his or her character that I design for. I want my designs to be able to express who is the person that wears them, like a face expression or a body posture does. For me fashion is more than a fast passing trend, this is an expression of thoughts and feelings. That's why as a designer I am interested in working on different kinds of clothing suitable for different ocassions.
