What: Maya starts taking people in. Phoenix finds out much later.

After letting Kiba fall asleep on the couch, Maya figured now would be the perfect time to start cleaning up the office. After all, she needed a favor from Phoenix and if she could butter him up enough, then maybe he’ll let Kiba stay! Besides, who would be so heartless as to kick someone out onto the cold streets?
Maya smiles to herself as she continues rearranging the desk to what she believes was much better than how it was before. She felt so funny, being a hostess was so new to her and she really wanted Kiba to be comfortable in her ‘home’. Watching him sleep gave her confidence that she was doing a good job of that.
Once she was done moving things around, she sat herself in the office chair. All there was to do now was to wait for Phoenix to get back. Boy, won’t he be surprised?
