It'd taken finding a rubber band to strap around the base of the clipboard to get the paper to stop fluttering around, and in the end he got frustrated with trying, pulled out his own communicator and decided to just get an aerial shot for later. There. Problem solved. Mission accomplished!
It was also one of those really convenient to be a cartoon character moments, where staying balanced on the back of random large things was something that one could get the hang of within seconds or minutes, so until this point, staying on had been pretty easy. It still was pretty easy after this point, though having hands free to cling tended to help if she started pulling stunts.
Nevermind a random helpful thing to do, there's [mis]adventures to be had!
"Not whatsoever. Let's do it anyway!"

"You know it's probably a good job my uncle isn't here in Ink City" she grins "He'd freak out big time if he knew what I've gotten myself into so far." As far as she's concerned - Whatever happens in Ink City STAYS in Ink City.
Now there was just the matter of finding that landing space and on top of that some form of entrance. But maybe Yakko had some idea how to get in.
"I hope the ride wasn't too bumpy back there."

"Uncle, huh? He'd freak out more if he heard that so far, I bet."
He was a bit too distracted looking at the entire thing to be thinking of some entry point, to be honest, but entry or not it was most impressive. His compliments to whoever built it - or condolences.
That last bit he shrugged off completely. "Compared to some of the airplane rides I've had? Please."

"Well I guess we could always knock?" Saft joked. "Though, I can't exactly see a welcome mat."
She lowered her neck so Yakko can safely slide off, Saft however isn't going to change her form again until she gets inside. Yakko had the advantage of being more toon like and Saft's only advantage here was the fact she managed to get them to the ship in the first place.

Yakko obediently slid down, almost gracefully. What part wasn't was easily rebounded from, and almost the moment he'd touched paw to ship he was off exploring it. He couldn't quite place where, but he knew he'd seen that thing before...
Well, he CAN place where. Right here.

As Yakko went off exploring, Saft followed once again thinking this would be much easier if she had the same zany abilities as he did. Surely there had to be some sort of hatch which would open and let the two budding adventurers inside.
"You wouldn't have happened to have brought anything that might be helpful, did you?"

Looking around became a temporary replacement for running around. "You mean like a doorbell? Sorry, fresh out."

Oh wait.
"Hm?"

Curiosity piqued, Yakko followed, having to double his usual speed just to keep up with her. "What? What is it?"

"Are you going to need some help gtting down there?"

This'd be really convenient if he had wings, eh? Really really easy to get over there. Without Wakko's gag bag or something, the James Bond entrance would be a lot harder.
"Nah, I figured I'd just jump over the side and wait for someone to pick me up. Or I could skip that scene and just get a ride to start with."

"After you!"

He'll do it!
Pushing himself down over the ledge, and using the hand still gripping the rail to swing down and onto the tail to start with, he was down and in before he'd had time to think that maybe that wasn't the best plan.
Clearly it was though, since he made it there okay. With the bonus of an exhilarating ride down there.
"Phew! Six Flags has nothin' on that one." He waved back at Saft to give the all clear, then stepped back to give her room.

Only because everything seems to be going the way she wanted so far.

There's a torn temptation to either go look further into where the hangar goes, and watch Saft -- fortunately the fact Saft doesn't take overly long allows for both easily.
Once it's clear she's headed over and not showing off, Yakko turns his attention back to the interior, and staring into the dark, "inviting" entryway. He's not quite so thoughtless - or stupid - as to run in there without a fellow Intrepid Adventurer, but he IS curious.

She lands just behind him and now there's somewhere to take cover in, once they're both a little further inside of there she'll change back.
Yeah it looks awfully dark in there, but Saft's dealt with dark before, Hopefully whatever's in there however isn't going to be as life threatening as the other things was. She looks down to Yakko and then back to the entry way taking a deep breath. Welp, she got them both into this mess it only made sense that she lead the way.
She exhales and moves onwards, Sorry Yakko, Looks like you're being demoted to the wise-cracking sidekick.
