Where: The Cathedral and The Shredder’s Fortress When: Wednesday evening Who: Nine, Three, and Shredder. What: Stitchpunk kidnapping. Warnings: Violence ( It was a night like any other. )
9 was not sleeping when night fell and draped the city in a cool embrace of dark. He couldn't sleep. For many days now the little burlap had been busily creating various means of protecting himself and his friends including pulley systems that would snap taunt to trip intruders of a threatening nature and pin-traps to pierce the feet of those who stepped on a specific area within the chapel and weighed enough. It was an area that was out of the way enough that the pursuer would have to be led there by one of the little ones, but 9 was confident it would work

It seemed like everyone was having difficulties sleeping tonight. Three had spent the past hour in the room he shared with Four, trying to find ways to occupy himself quietly, not wanting to disturb his brother. Four had spent quite a bit of energy fussing over his twin, and as far as Three was concerned, he needed his rest. However, their room was more than a little messy, and anything he wanted to do ran the risk of knocking something off a shelf or table, which would certainly wake Four

9 continued to look about in quiet, controlled terror. There was something out there. It was not something he wanted getting closer. He wasn't finished his outside defense systems. What was he going to do if whatever was out there wanted more than just him? Assuming it wanted him at all, he would have enough trouble.
That was when he heard something else getting closer, the familiar pattering of feet alerting him to the fact it was another one of his own. He turned, narrowing his lenses to focus in the dark and realized it was 3 drawing close.
"3? What are you doing out here? You should be sleeping. Besides," he added in hushed tones, "I think there's something out here. You should get back inside as soon as you can."
At first, Three smiled, scurrying closer to Nine. However, he slowed when he noticed the other's tension, and the blade strapped to the top of that staff. This made him stop dead in his tracks, looking around in alarm even as Nine urged him to go back inside.
Unwilling to leave Nine behind, he took another step closer, tugging on the taller one's arm, trying to get him to come along. With an uncertain look, he gestured to the window of his and Four's room, and the little makeshift ladder. Come with him!
At least you can see what's coming from up there, right?
From the shadows a dark figure watched the two of them. Its master told it to bring the bolder one back, but it supposes that His Lordship would not mind two of them. It would be a bother if the little one were to raise the alarm anyway. At the silent one's suggestion of retreating back inside, the massive snake moved silently around the grass that hid it and slithered closer to the window, its jet black body blending perfectly in with the night.
Time will come, and they will easily fall pray to the predator made to hunt them.
9 freezes in place even as 3 tugs at him. A horrible chill is all about him and he cannot move. He can, however, speak.
"L-listen to me, 3. Go inside. Now. There is something horrible out here. I do not know what it is, but I can't let it hurt any of you. Please. Go inside and warn the others."
Three shivered slightly at this, wringing his hands. He didn't want to leave Nine all alone, wanted to help him...
But what could he even do?
Finally, he nodded, taking a couple shaky steps back before turning and darting back towards the window and the ladder leading up to it. If he could find Eight, maybe he could help!
The little one is retreating! That won't do at all, so the snake suddenly slithered out of the shadows at a terrifying speed and blocked the smaller stitchpunk's path. Like its Master, the snakes eyes glow red as they look hungrily down on its prey, it did not plan for Three to go anywhere except to its Master.
The monster hisses and lashes at Three, its mouth agape, and easily swallows him whole. For a moment its body seems to glow green before it turns its attention to Nine. Slowly it advances on him, eyes alert and ready to strike at any movement Nine made.
9 may have been aware of a threat but he was not ready for the monstrosity that came hurtling out of the darkness. He tried to use his blade but the creature moved so quickly that 9's attempt merely glanced off of the scales. He watched in absolute horror as the creature caught up with 3... and then snapped him up and swallowed him whole.
An intense rage filled 9 in that moment and even as the beast prepared to strike, 9 had adjusted the grip on his blade. With a scream, he rushed the monster, desperate to get 3 back and not thinking clearly enough to retreat to plan a strategy.
The snake was taken aback by the aggression the little doll creature showed. It had not expected him to be so bold, being so small and all. It hisses and bares its fangs at Nine before swinging his tail around and attempting to knock the weapon out of his hands.
The tail does its job well and not only is the weapon dislodged from his hands but 9 himself is knocked head over feet until he crashes to the ground. He grunts, trying to get to his feet. 3. 3 was... because of him...
"I can't give up... there must be some way to stop this thing!"
The snake hissed again and reared up, carefully judging the distance between itself and Nine. After a moment, it lunged forward, jaws agape, and attempts to swallow Nine whole like it did with Three.
9 was unable to stand even the slightest chance against the hulking beast. Even though he tried his best, its jaws overpowered him and swallowed him without difficulty. He screamed, terrified. This couldn't be the end. It couldn't be.
With its prey captured, the Snake hisses with triumph and slithered off into the night. It did not go far before its body disintegrated. It only takes a moment for it to reappear before the Shredder, who was still sitting on his throne and thoughtfully gazing out at the empty room. His eyes narrowed at the snake and with a gurgle it coughed up the two Stitchpunks onto the red carpet.
"Well, it appears we seem to have an extra guest. No matter, the more the merrier. Welcome Nine, to my humble home." He laughed and watched them, not bothering to stand up to greet them. He knew that they would not get far wherever they thought to flee. "I take it that little one is one of the Twins you told me about Nine?
The little stitchpunk was sent sprawling across the floor when he was coughed up, blinking a few times as he lifted his head, trying to make sense of what had just happened, where he was. Had Nine beaten that horrible creature?
The sight of the snake nearby startled Three, and he physically recoiled, shrinking back against Nine, eyes wide. When an unfamiliar voice spoke up, he looked to see who it was, and found himself staring at...
What was that? It was shaped like a human... but it was metal and sharp, and those terrifying eyes... Starting to tremble, he grabbed blindly for Nine, wanting the other to get up. Nine would know what to do. Nine would have a plan, like always.
9 had a very similar rough landing once he was coughed out of the hideous beast, rolling and coming to a stop. He coughed harshly, shaking his head to clear it. What had just happened? He tried to put things together, but then his thoughts immediately shifted to 3. He had to make sure 3 was safe, was protected.
As he pulled 3 close to him, he stood tall, posture perfect in defiance. He needed to be brave for 3 in this moment... even as he looked up at the one he immediately recognized as The Shredder.
"...Shredder? What's going on?" 9 asked, confusion in his voice.

Shakily, he readies his blade.
