(
So, tell me again, what all have you seen? )
Trevor had the equipment ready. All that was required was for both Caroline and Chell to show up. Again, Trevor was a man of near-infinite patience.

Either way, it was too good to be true, especially after Cave Johnson's offer, wasn't it?
She bites her bottom lip. Why not stop by? Her trust in Caroline outshined her doubt. Knowing she had some influence in her future rescue solidified her trust, and she pulled on some shoes and a coat, and headed right out the door, her knuckles white around the device.
Wandering a bit around the complex, she's confused as to just where this Mr. Goodchild lived. Standing on the street corner nearby, she sends a quick text to Caroline:
where?

"I'm glad you could make it. Once we go inside, we're going to need to do some quick medical tests and then prep you for surgery." She said it like it was going to be just a simple procedure. Nothing big. Just brain surgery.
She happily lead Chell into the complex to where Trevor was waiting.

Once outside, he arrives to the entrance, already dressed in a surgical gown and gloves.
He nods to Caroline. The other woman must be Chell...interesting features, he noted. But back to the matter at hand.
"Excellent. We can begin preparing for the procedure. Come inside."

Really?
She stops, and offers a hand to Trevor. To shake of course, she'd at least like to introduce herself properly to the man, especially if he was going to be messing around in her head.
Or, you know, give her a voice.

"I suppose an introduction would be appropriate. I am Trevor Goodchild. Hopefully we can finish this as soon as possible."
He walks into the compound, up the several floors into the surgery room.

Quickly as possible doesn't exactly settle her nerves either, but oh well. She follows the two along gingerly, not shy, but not exactly ready to hop onto a table either.
She makes constant looks to Caroline, if her nervousness wasn't apparent before, it is now.

Well, Caroline trusted that he knew what he was doing, anyway. He had been trustworthy so far.

Taking a seat back on the table, she breathes deeply, imagining anything worse than this. After all, she had been through worse, she concluded.

He uncaps a syringe from his pocket, tapping it to test its validity.
Turning to Chell, he explains, "Anesthetic. To ensure your safety. I'll require your arm."

Offering her arm up as though she were saying goodbye to it, a brief thought occured; maybe she should've told someone other than Caroline.
Someone she knows, trusts. Then it occurred that...there weren't many people like that to her. Mere acquaintances. Well.
It could be worse, right? She could be sitting at the bottom of the incinerator.

Thus, when the opportunity arises to better mankind legitimate or otherwise, he cannot refuse the opportunity to say no.
With little further word, he sinks in the needle.
"Within thirty seconds she should be sedated."

This was the cold water, and her eyes fluttered shut without another thought.
