A Warm Welcome

Vlad pushed Ariel on the jimmied-together wheelchair, and they came to a gate. Beyond the gate, lush landscaping and a couple beds of flowers surrounded a large, luxurious mansion, with a walk to the front door and around to the back.
"Welcome, Ariel, to my home, and yours, if you wish," he said, just a bit of pride in his voice, "Though the only, ah, handicap entrance is in the back."
