I was pleased to just find out that, forthcoming on dvd, Gregg Araki (Nowhere and Totally F***ed Up) has made a film version of Scott Heim's Mysterious Skin, a queer novel that I actually enjoyed ... not being a (sigh) "coming out" story!

Please don't let it be bone-numbingly disappointing like Araki's last movie, Splendor!
