The antibiotics are starting to take hold.

It feels so good to be productive. I finished the John Taggart essay, mailed it off (Yes, champdaddy , I did slug more on this than intended :)) and last night ordered my books to begin on the Cole Swensen piece. Can't wait to get them in the mail

Right on for healing! I know I *hate* it when the cough won't stop. People look at me funny as I am enjoying a smoky treat and then stop to hack up a pound of lung butter. I just smile and say "Damn these taste good!"

Thanks, Fella! Yeah, the doctor gave me the "quit smoking" speech and offered Wellbutrin. Think I'll hack, as you say, and quit au naturelle ... .

All natural; the only way. Better living through pharmaceuticals makes a cute slogan, but when I quit, it'll be just that way: natural. Just like I like my men, and my... well, you get the idea.

Hehehe, I hear you. Goes along with my theme of giving up deodorant a few years ago. Now, that was an easy habit to drop ... .

I gladly chucked all my deoderant 5 or 6 years ago and never looked back. Would much rather smell and taste the real thing, both on me and on another man.

postscript: there is something so primal, so intoxicating, so *pheremonal* about the pure smell of a man. For me, nothing else incites the same invigorating response.

Just felt like sharing that.

I am right there with you. One of the things I am is a "rutter" :), so I have to give full hallelujah to the natural smell. In fact, loud colognes can actually turn me away from an otherwise good-lookin' guy ... . Tiny but big thing for me ... .

A rutter! I can relate to that! When I;m in the monent, I will get all up in there and not come up for air. And I'm with ya on the cologne thing. As for cologne, a *very* small amount of a well-chosen cologne can be very nice. But when we get down to bidness, off it comes. I want to taste the real man.
